Just like a woman’s wardrobe isn’t complete with a LBD (little black dress), a woman can’t live without a button-up shirt in their closet. The button-up shirt has been a staple in a woman’s closet for decades and it still remains a timeless piece that’s both versatile and classy.

The wide range of fabrics and prints that a button-up comes in is so expanse that it gives us the opportunity to mix and match with different bottoms. This type of shirt also can be worn casually and can easily be dressed up for more formal occasions. The easiest form to opt for is a silky, sheer button up which can be paired with endless options.

The button-up looks best tucked into a pair of trouser pants, high-waisted shorts or a cute skirt like Whitney Port’s beige shirt tucked into a white ruffle skirt and Rachel Bilson’s floral shirt worn with red trouser pants. Another more casual and comfortable way to rock the button-up shirt is in an oversized fit, worn over skinny jeans or leggings like Mary-Kate Olsen did paired with black classic accessories and pumps.

I agree. We can combine a white shirt with so many “looks”. We use a botton-up shirt in a walk in the park and changing the acessories, we can go to a cocktail or happy hour.
It looks so gorgeous!
I have been so bewidleerd in the past but now it all makes sense!
We love it too! Thanks for your comment.
